Loveland Opening Day Resort Report

After a week of cold weather and a tremendous job done by snowmaking crew Loveland kicked off there opening day on the earliest date in resort history. Boarders were met with an enthusiastic crowd and perfect weather for Opening Day 2009. They had there usual top to bottom run open with an 18″ base. The conditions were exceptionally good for this early in the season. They had a few jibs set up on the upper portion of the run with a down rail and a cbox. I am sure a few more features will be added in the next few days. Overall the snow conditions were great and the run was full of rollers and soft snow for some good slashers. With more snow forecasted in the next week conditions can only get better. More after the break.
